Why it costs so little

Because you're going
when nobody else is.

Every gym on earth is packed at 7am and 6pm, and empty in between. The rent, the lights and the staff are paid for either way.

We sell that yellow stretch. The gym turns dead hours into money, you get in for the price of a couple of coffees, and nobody's worse off. Prices are set by each gym, not by us.

How it works

Three taps and a door code.

Find a gym near you

Open the site wherever you've landed. See what's free in the next few hours, with the price on each one.

Book, sign and pay

Name, email, card, and the gym's conditions of entry signed online. You get a four-digit code straight away.

Walk in and train

Show your code and any photo ID. You're already on their screen and already paid. That's check-in.

Who it's for

People a membership
was never going to suit.

You're travelling

Four days in Melbourne. You want two sessions, not a contract at a gym you'll never see again.

You're up for work

Interstate for a week, on a rotation, on site for a stint. You still want to train.

You're on holiday

Two weeks away doesn't have to mean two weeks off. Book a session wherever you've landed.

OFFPEAK is only for training away from home — you tell us your city when you book, and you can't book gyms there. For your own city, your local gym's trial or membership will always be better value.

Questions

The obvious ones.

Do I need a local ID?

No local ID, but you do need some photo ID — passport, overseas licence, anything with your name on it. The local-ID rule exists for free trials, because gyms give those away hoping you'll join and want proof you're a local who might. You've paid, so there's nothing to qualify for. The ID check is only to confirm you're the person who booked.

Why is it so much cheaper than a day pass?

Because you're going at a time nobody wants. The gym has already paid for 11am on a Tuesday whether you're there or not. You're not getting a discount, you're taking the leftovers.

Can I book a session for a friend?

No. The booking is in your name, the gym checks ID against it, and codes can't be passed on. If your mate wants to train, they book their own.

Do I have to sign up for anything?

No account, no app, no direct debit. Name, email, card, done. You get a code and that's the last you hear from us.

Is there paperwork when I get there?

No. Gyms make casual visitors sign conditions of entry, so you do that online when you book — read it, tick it, type your name. When you arrive it's already done and you walk straight through.

What hours can I book?

Whatever each gym opens up — usually somewhere between 10am and 3pm on weekdays, sometimes late evenings. Peak hours aren't listed, because that's when the gym's own members are in.

Can I use this in my own city?

No. You tell us where you live when you book, and gyms in that city aren't available to you. OFFPEAK is for trips — at home, your local gym's trial or membership is better value than anything we could offer.

What does a session actually cost?

Each gym sets its own price, so it varies — most sit between $5 and $9, and $12 is the most any gym can charge. You always see the exact price before you pay. A booking fee is added on top.

How many sessions can I book on one trip?

Five in a city at the listed price. Past that it steps up, because at that point you're not really passing through.

What if I book and can't make it?

Email us before it starts and we'll refund it. Miss it without telling anyone and the gym keeps the money, same as any booking.

Which cities are live?

Sydney first, then Melbourne, Brisbane and the rest as we sign gyms in each. Leave your email below and we'll tell you when yours opens.
